[ inside pozirk games ]

I have launched three new websites for some Tests purposes. They are pretty similar to each other at the moment, but I will make different designs later.
Here are the websites:
LULZ! Games – Play free online games. Just for LULZ!
Oops! Games – Oops, I play them again, these wonderful games…
Trololo Games – Trololo, trololo, play games trololo.

Btw, it is not an easy thing to find a name for games website nowadays, there are millions of them and almost all the good names are taken.

I have found a mochi plugin for wordpress, that is very nice and easy to use.
This plugin with some wordpress theme modifications gives really nice flash games websites absolutely free!
All this thanx to the plugin and theme author – Emanuele Feronato.
So, ArcademPro is buggy, ugly and slow piece of code, that is why I have switched Free Flash Games website to wordpress engine.

Finally I’ve switched Download Games website from Reflexive engine to BigFish engine. I’ve used one of the templates that comes with their SGS. Hope, I will make new design later.

Finally I’ve switched to new design for Pozirk Games.

[ Friend of mine is porting Mad Tanks to iPhone! And he has almost finished. Unfortunately name "Mad Tanks" is occupied by someone else at AppleStore, so we decided to switch to old name: "Soko Tank". ]

Grrr. I’m thinking to switch to BigFishGames, but now I have to make new Download Games website design for their Satellite Gamesite System and make many other modifications.  Again.

Download Games website is ready! Two more left.

Have found one bug in swfobject version 2.2, when using it dynamically, code looks like that:

swfobject.embedSWF("http://www.pozirk-games.com/swf/menu.swf", "menu", "800", "32", "8.0.0");

If “menu” is id of the <td> tag, flash movie doesn’t work both in IE and Chrome. IE shows up “Unknown Runtime Error”, what is very informative, of course.
Using <div> instead of <td> solves the problem.

It’s been two months already I’ve started making new game, although game code is almost done, I still didn’t get any graphics from designer…

So, right now I’m changing websites design.

Also, I’m planning to start my own flash games contest with cash prices this summer, if everything goes well. It will be some kind of experiment.

So, very soon(hmm-hmm) I’m going to replace all-in-one website with three(even four) websites, each with its own content.

www.pozirk.com & www.pozirk.net – only my games.
www.pozirk-games.net – online flash games, there are more than 9k games right now.
www.pozirk-games.com – download casual games, both for PC and Mac.

For flash games I have bought an “Arcadem Pro” script, it has a lot of features, like automatic installation of games from Mochi and BigFish, Google AdSense(needs modification) and SEO friendly URLs. It has a lot of bugs too, luckily it was cheap, only 10 bucks.
For casual games I’m using Development Kit provided by Reflexive, very well designed and simple, but no features.
I had to add SEO URLs by myself and will add AdSense later.

And of course need to change design for all websites.
